Facilities

There is ramped access throughout the site and into the Udderbelly and Studio performance venues. Our main bar has a low-level section of the counter. The food concessions do not have a low-level counter section; however staff are more than happy to come out from behind the counter to take your order. We have a range of toilet facilities including all-gender toilets, an accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities.

We welcome assistance dogs everywhere and can provide water bowls if required.

The box office, the Udderbelly, and the Studio have induction hearing loops. Please ask a front of house staff member if you have any questions about this.

A large print version of menus for all bars and food concessions are available.

Toilets

The accessible toilet is located within the main toilet area of the site. The toilet unit is accessed by a shallow ramp. The door opens outwards and is wide enough for both manual and powered wheelchairs. Inside, there are fixed handrails and drop-down rails to assist with self-transfer between a wheelchair and the toilet. All handrails are colour-contrasting. There is a low-level sink with sensor taps installed.

Performances

If you require the assistance of a personal assistant or carer to attend, your companion may be eligible for a complimentary ticket. Free companion tickets can be booked in person or over the phone.

We offer captioned performances for certain shows, with a screen showing text which describes the performance. This service may be useful for people who are D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing. More details of captioned performances in 2022 will appear here soon.

We offer relaxed performances for certain shows with a more relaxed performance environment. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement in the performance venue. House lights will be up at a low level throughout the performance. No changes are made to the lighting and sound within the show. More details of relaxed performances in 2022 will appear here soon.
